2023 Juneteenth Art Contest Application Period:
April 24 - June 10
The Great Khalid Foundation Juneteenth Art Contest is a general competition where participants
have the opportunity to showcase their art and have it auctioned at our first annual Juneteenth Cultural Celebration.
Submissions will be auctioned at the event with proceeds split equally between the artist and the organizations.
Application open to all ages.
Participants must submit:
An original art piece of any medium (except digital art)
Theme must represent Black history
Submit a short essay describing the inspiration behind your art piece
Must be available to attend the Gala on June 17, 2023 (black tie attire)
Must surrender submission for auction
All finalists will be invited to visit The Great Khalid Foundation office with their original art piece prior to the event.
