SUPPORTING EDUCATION AND INNOVATION

The Great Khalid Foundation Back to School Program is a local, need-based initiative presenting middle school children with a new backpack filled with the school supplies they need to start the school year with excitement and confidence. Our goal is to provide children with the tools they need to focus on their studies and be successful in the classroom.

Since 2019, The Great Khalid Foundation has supplied 1,850 stuffed backpacks to incoming middle school students across six El Paso area schools.

Our 2022 Back to School program application is open through May 20. District personnel and middle school principals across the El Paso and Las Cruces region are invited to apply on behalf of their students.

Applicants: please combine demographics and statistics with heartfelt stories to convey why The Great Khalid Foundation should plan a visit to your school.
