The Great Khalid Foundation believes that music is a positive and life-changing resource in the lives of children.  The Great Khalid Foundation Music in Schools Program provides new musical instruments and accessory supplies to public schools for their music education programs.  The Great Khalid Foundation is committed to increasing access to music education and providing opportunities for students within performing arts programs.

In 2019, The Great Khalid Foundation's Music in Schools Program gifted 10 classical guitars and dozens of accessory supplies to Fabens Middle School.  Principal Nancy Torres and the school's guitar teacher Jonathan Lozoya faced the impossible task of turning students away from their music education classes.  The school had a shortage of instruments but a surplus of interested students.  Mr. Lozoya maintained the aged guitars with love, but his program was in desperate need of support.

The Great Khalid Foundation is striving to ensure that no child is turned away from music education due to financial hardship or a shortage of instruments.  Music teachers and program directors are encouraged to apply on behalf of their school and their students.
