Performing Arts Scholarship
Merit-based scholarship awarded to high school seniors pursuing higher education in a performing arts program. Students are recognized for their academic achievements and artistic ability. The Great Khalid Foundation has awarded $80,000 in educational support.
Fine Arts Student Exhibition: Celebrating Black History
Increasing Black history educational opportunities while providing students with an outlet for self-expression. Student artists are invited to submit original artwork to the juried competition.
Honoring Parents Essay Contests
In partnership with El Paso Public Libraries, The Great Khalid Foundation asks program participants to share meaningful stories about the special parental figure in their life. Four program participants win an exciting prize package to give to their parental figure on Mother’s Day and on Father’s Day.
Back to School Program
Designed to help children have a GREAT start for the upcoming school year. Backpacks are filled to the brim with school supplies that provide children the tools they need to focus on their studies and be successful in the classroom.
